The system consists of a primary bag containing anti-coagulant CPDA-1, which preserves red blood cells up to 35 days. For whole blood collection, preservation and transfusion. When blood component separation is needed, Transfer Bag can be connected. Besides single, the blood bags could be: double ( for separation of Red Blood Cell and Plasma), triple ( for separation of Red Blood Cells, Plasma and a buffy coat) or quadruple ( for separation of Red Blood Cells, Plasma and Platelets). Available with diferent capacity, as for the Primary bag and for the Satelite.
